Question: | | | At Texparts, what do you value most about your work? |
Frey: | | | Having freedom as a developer is a key to exceptional ideas and solutions. I appreciate the fact that the development department at Texparts has a lot of freedom and that the results are appreciated. This trust-based cooperation is the base for creativity and innovation. Freedom for developers guarantees unusual ideas and solutions. I grew up in a family of craftsmen. There, it was always a case of hands-on work and creation rather than having big discussions. This strong hands-on mentality is something I also practice at Texparts. |

Question: | | | Is there a product particularly important to you and why? |
Frey: | | | This is clearly the PK 2630 SE family: this was my first very big project at Texparts. It replaced the PK 2000 family, which was considered the industry standard and for decades was the synonym for drafting arms worldwide. The name PK even established itself as a generic term or brand name for all drafting systems, so strong was its influence. With the PK 2630 SE, however, we have created a new standard and benchmark through a targeted new development with six new patents, of which I am still very proud. |

Question: | | | Which are the development trends in the spindle sector? |
Frey: | | | In the area of spindle development, too, we have not stood still, we are always at the cutting edge. Highest speeds and efficient use of energy are the trend for spindles combined with an increasing degree of automation. With our new developments Eshape spindle and Spinnfinity, the underwinding-free system, these requirements are precisely met. |
