ITM 2024 in Istanbul, which took place from 4 to 8 June, was a spectacular showcase for the latest developments in the field of textile technologies – a real highlight for anyone interested in the latest trends and innovations!
More than 1000 companies from over 60 countries presented their services and products in the various areas of textile production and provided insights into the exciting future of the textile industry.
ITM is the largest trade fair in Turkey and the entire region. It is one of the most important trade fairs in the world and this year broke the visitor record of recent years with 66,200 visitors.

The CarpetCabler CarpetTwister 1.12 impresses with its impressive flexibility and increased productivity with easy handling.
The newly adapted servo traverse enables the cabling and twisting of alternative fibre materials such as POYs, FDYs and DTYs, which are becoming increasingly important compared to conventional BCF carpet yarns. There is also a clear trend towards finer yarn counts in the carpet sector. Instead of the standard yarn counts 1000 den, 1200 den or 1400 den, which still have their justification, additional yarn counts such as 150 den, 300 den or 600 den are being used.
The exhibited CarpetCabler CarpetTwister 1.12 proved to be an absolute magnet for our customers and new customers from all over the world, especially from Turkey, Iran, Uzbekistan, India, the Maghreb states and many European countries.
The interest in our products was huge from the first to the last day of the fair. Countless interesting conversations were held and projects discussed. The dialogue was extremely interesting and varied. It was not just about the exhibit on show, but also about the other products from Saurer Technologies, Twisting Solutions. The trend is clear: even if there is a certain reluctance at the moment due to the tense economic situation, customers are finding out in detail about the new technologies and machines and are planning their projects in order to be optimally equipped for the future.
